I find it interesting that to buy flood insurance for your home you can only go through the government, but the government program "lapsed". So for a while (when Oklahoma was experiencing flooding) you couldn't buy flood insurance. They have now extended the program through September 30th, so if you want flood insurance... buy it now! Does this give you any confidence in the government run health insurance program idea? If they can't effectively run a flood insurance program that most people are not interested in buying because they are not in a flood zone, how will they run a program that EVERYONE is MANDATED to participate in? Don't they realize the massive undertaking that is?!? Sorry, but I'm not exactly confident in Uncle Sam running my healthcare!
